Drivers’ Association of Zimbabwe has approached Parliament to look into enacting a law that sets a minimum educational qualification before one can obtain a drivers lifense
Speaker of Parliament, Advocate Mudenda, read the notice of petitions received during Tuesday’s National Assembly sitting
“Third a petition from the Drivers’ Association of Zimbabwe, beseeching Parliament to enact legislation that professionalises the driving occupation and to transform it into a profession with a professional association which will be mandated by law to set entry educational qualifications,”
The Speaker informed the house that the petition was already sitting with the Portfolio Committee on Transport and Infrastructural Development.
