It is all over bar the shouting at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo today. South Africa duly completed a pulverising innings and 236-run victory over a hapless Zimbabwe to win the second Test and with it a sweep of the series 2-0.

Resuming on 51-1 in their second innings, having been asked to follow on yy by the visitors, the beleaguered Chevrons added another 169 runs before being bowled out for 220 just before tea on the third day.

With over two days to spare the South African players can now even contemplate a game viewing trip in nearby Hwange if they so wish before the start of a triangular one-day series in Harare starting next week.

Zimbabwe, SA and New Zealand are the three nations playing. For Zimbabwe Nick Welch top scored with 55 with 49 by skipper Craig Erving, 40 by Takudzwa Kaitano and 22 by tailender Tanaka Chivanga the only other scores of note.

Pace bowler Corbin Bosch with 4-38 off 19 overs and Senuran Muthusamy(3-77) were the pick of the SA bowlers.

Stand-in South African captain Wiaan Mulder, who scored an unbeaten 367 yy, the highest ever score by a South African in Tests, was adjudged the man of the match and man of the series.
