Fifa has suspended Zimbabwe from international football after a government body in the southern African country declined to reinstate the national football federation.

The Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC) sacked the entire Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) executive last November amidst a raft of charges which include corruption and sexual abuse of female match officials.
Fifa had given SRC a deadline of 3 January to reinstate the Zifa officials or face a ban. The SRC ignored the ultimatum.
