With less than 100 days to the 5 November presidential election, United States Vice President Kamala Harris has had to step out of President Joe Biden’s shadows and put together a campaign team, develop her platform, decide on strategy, approve advertising to ensure correct messaging and prepare for a possible game changing debate, among many other things.
It is a daunting task even when one has months of preparation and hundreds of millions of dollars.
And most importantly, it is her turn to make history as the first woman – black for that matter – to become US president, just like Barrack Obama become the first African-American to be the president in 2009.
