Hwindi President lands new manager

Zimdancehall star Hwindi President has appointed Harare-based lawyer and showbiz promoter Jivas Mudimu as his new manager in a move expected to elevate his brand and expand his reach both locally and internationally.

Born Bessel Mugo Parewa, Hwindi President, has been in the music industry for over a decade and has built a solid reputation with hit songs such as Ndakusuwa, which gained popularity during the Covid-19 era.

The new management says it is aiming at improving the artist’s visibility and positioning him for greater commercial success.

“Yes i have been engaged by Hwindi President and we agreed that i will be managing his music affairs. I am sure promoters who have worked with him before knows him as a humble and proffesional artist. So we are just taking to another level,”  Mudimu said.

Mudimu expressed confidence in the partnership, describing Hwindi President as a humble and professional artist who is well respected by promoters.

He said those who have previously worked with the dancehall star understand his work ethic, adding that the goal is simply to take the brand to another level.

Mudimu added that managing Hwindi President will not be a challenge because the artist already commands a strong and loyal fan base that cuts across different demographics.

“Hwindi President is loved by many people as such we are just working to move his brand move to another level,” he said.

Hwindi President also spoke highly of Mudimu, revealing that they had previously worked together when the promoter hosted him at his nightclubs in Mutoko.

He said he was impressed by Mudimu’s professionalism and extensive experience in the music industry, expressing confidence that the new management will transform his brand into a stronger and more competitive force.

“We have performed at all his Night Clubs in Mutoko. What i can tell you is his level of proffesionalism and experience in the music industry is impressing. I know with him our brand is now transforming to a better position,” he said.

As part of this new chapter, Hwindi President has promised to release a new album, which he says will be launched in style under the new management.
