While other people were busy rescuing victims and property from the fire which gutted Mbare Musika in Harare on Tuesday night, criminals were at work on the hunt: stealing, robbing and looting in the process with impunity.
Police had to be called in to control the swelling crowd and deal with rampaging thieves in a looting festival under the cover of darkness and scorching shadow of the devastating blaze which left a trail of destruction and chaos.
