Burning Spear Live At Glamis

Famous Jamaican singer-songwriter and vocalist Winston Rodney, better known by the stage name Burning Spear, will perform at Glamis Arena in Harare later today.

Burning Spear is reggae music icon and a two-time Grammy Award winner. The show is dubbed Burning Spear Live and Direct, One People Africa Tour.

Burning Spear jetted into the country on Wednesday.

According to one of the organisers, Nev Bennet, several radio and television interviews have been lined up for Burning Spear and his band.

He is expected to visit some of the rasta communities in the high density suburbs as well as meeting some of his fans.

Bennet also said Burning Spear tickets are selling “like hot cakes” and are almost sold out. In a recent interview with Terence Mapurisana Live on ZBC Classic263, Burning Spear confirmed that he will also be performing in Johannesburg, South Africa, Lusaka, Zambia, Lilongwe, Malawi, and Nairobi Kenya under the One People Africa Tour 2024.

With a career spanning over five decades, and known for his powerful and soulful voice, he is globally renowned for delivering messages of unity, love, peace and social justice.
